Anna met Brittany in the Medical Assistant program, in La Crosse. They quickly became friends after many late night study sessions. Brittany was also the person who helped Anna launch her photography business, by being a model one summer day in 2011. Anna posted a few photos of her on facebook and the next thing she knew she was doing family sessions, and high school seniors and eventually weddings. They also worked at the same clinic together before Brittany moved back to her hometown.
