Walnut Street
A 10 minute walk from the venue, Walnut Street is Shadyside's main street. Walnut Street has many nice stores and restaurants, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat or sipping a coffee and window shopping!
Mario's East Side Saloon
Laid-back neighborhood bar with a rooftop deck—casual and classic Pittsburgh. Trey is a big fan of their shot wheel. Be sure to give it a spin!
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Main (Oakland)
Carnegie Library is one of Rachel and Trey's favorite spots. Located right next door to Shadyside in Rachel and Trey's former neighborhood of Oakland, it's a beautiful spot to walk around and explore or sit and read.
Strip District
A foodie’s paradise with local shops, markets, cafes, and iconic Pittsburgh eats. Rachel and Trey's favorite spots in the Strip are DeLuca's Diner (2015 Penn Ave) and Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop (2124 Penn Ave)! If you're looking for the biggest selection and best deals on everything black and gold, be sure to visit Yinzers in the Burgh (2127 Penn Ave).
Point State Park
Located in Downtown Pittsburgh at the "point" of the three rivers, it offers great waterfront views, including a great view of Heinz Field! Another great spot for first-time visitors.
Duquesne Incline
Ride the historic incline up Mount Washington for sweeping skyline views. A classic for any Pittsburgh tourist. (Note - a round trip is $5, cash only!)
