Things To Do

Duquesne Incline

Duquesne Incline

1197 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

The Duquesne Incline offers incredible views of downtown Pittsburgh! Take a trip up to Mount Washington and enjoy the scenic overlooks!

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

We got engaged at Phipps! Explore the beauty and wonders of nature, encompassing 15 acres including a 14-room glasshouse and 23 distinct gardens.

National Aviary

National Aviary

700 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

The National Aviary is the nation's largest "bird zoo" and is home to more than 500 feathered friends! Watch flamingos frolic, witness penguins waddle and swim, and "hang out" with a sloth.

Randyland

Randyland

1501 Arch Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212

Randyland is a free, eccentric public garden in the North Side neighborhood. Anthony Bourdain said that visiting is essential for the "perfect day in Pittsburgh".

Strip District

Pittsburgh, PA

The one-half square mile shopping district is chock full of ethnic grocers, produce stands, meat and fish markets, and sidewalk vendors. We love strolling through Wholey's and Pennsylvania Macaroni Co. (Penn Mac for short!), grabbing a pepperoni roll at Mancini's or a cheese steak at Peppi's, enjoying a La Prima cappuccino, and eyeing all the Pittsburgh sports merch on the sidewalks. If you happen to walk by while the Sambok Food Stand is open, we highly recommend the mung bean pancake (Sara's favorite) and the chicken on a stick (Greg's go-to).

For all the days along the way
