Preface ♡: Mannelyn and Jose met at their mutual bestfriend’s, Francisco’s, birthday party in September of 2017. Jose had known Francisco prior due to going to school with him, while Manna befriended him at work. Even before meeting, Manna and Jose had many mutual friends which they are grateful for. Mannelyn’s POV ♡: “The day we met, we actually didn’t really interact much. When he first came in, I recognized him from being mutuals on social media. We had a couple instances of bumping into each other and exchanging a few words, but nothing significant. What really caught my attention, was when I was walking through the backyard and Jose was basically breakdancing all by himself. Being naturally introverted, I admired the way he was able to be himself and not care. It wasn’t until the next day I sent him a message, and not a single day went by after that where we didn’t talk. Friends and family know very well Jose and I never leave each other’s side. I am forever grateful and blessed to have him in my life.” Jose’s POV ♡: “The day we met I knew Manna somewhat beforehand from being mutuals online. We never really talked but I always found her funny from seeing her posts. That was the main reason I wanted to introduce myself at the very least. I remember seeing her throughout the party and I would do random things mainly to combat my nerves of being around new faces. I remember at the end when I was leaving and saying bye to everyone she asked me for a hug before I left and that really stuck with me as I drove back home. I never expected her to reach out the following day. That was the start of being in each other’s lives ever since. I truly am grateful and blessed to be able to call a beautiful soul like hers my Future Wife.”
