We met on Facebook in September 2021 and hit it off immediately, messaging nonstop until we finally planned our first date. We met at Dockside in Colonial Beach — nighttime, live acoustic music, tiki bar lights, and plenty of sand. The second we made eye contact, Sara tripped walking up to John (foreshadowing our entire relationship). We talked for hours, laughing like we’d known each other forever. And from that night on, everything felt easy.

We’ll be celebrating our first days as husband and wife in Fort Worth, Texas — enjoying the Stockyards, great food, and ending the trip with a NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway. We can’t wait to relax, explore, and start our new chapter with an adventure.
