Baraat - In Hindu weddings, the Groom is led to the marriage venue in a procession known as the Baraat. This celebratory wedding tradition involves upbeat music and dancing as the Groom makes his way through the procession. Traditionally, the Groom's family and friends lead the celebration, but we request all wedding guest to join in on the fun! Milni - Once the Baraat reaches the venue, a ritual known as Milni will take place at the entrance. The bride's family and the Groom's family will meet and exchange floral garlands, representing the unification of the two families. Hindu Wedding Ceremony - Following the Baraat and Milni, the wedding ceremony will take place. A Hindu ceremony is steeped in tradition and rituals that date back to 3000 BC. The various steps will be described as the priest recites prayers to bless the couple's union.
