We met at the bowling alley of all places, with a large group of co-workers from the Roaring Fork Club. Bobby was the new kid on the block, shy, and observant of the rowdy crowd. From that night on, Bobby was insistent on driving by in his golf cart every day at work to say hello. You could say he swooped right in. It was the remainder of the summer that opened our eyes to a new relationship that seemed to be written in the stars. I had a running joke with my dad that I should become a golfer, but I told him I'd rather marry one instead.
I saw Becca at the bowling alley that first night and knew I was in love. I always wanted to be near her whether it was at work or just out with friends. Inviting myself over to her family BBQ was the perfect way to get on her family's good side. My mom always told me I would marry a Colorado Girl, and after a night out at the rodeo with Becca, I knew she was the one for me.
Becca and Bobby spent the Christmas week with Becca's family. Every Christmas Eve, Becca's mom gives out Christmas PJs to unwrap before bed. Becca's PJs were not PJs at all. Her present was her engagement ring tied to the ring bear pillow used at her parents wedding. Bobby proposed in front of her family and of course she said yes! We are so excited to celebrate our love with you! Thank you for being a part of our special day!
