Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Women: Formal floor length or ankle length dresses, formal floor length jumpsuit, or pantsuit. Please do NOT wear white, ivory, cream, dark green (bridesmaids’ color), vibrant colors (bright red, royal blue, hot pink, etc.). The theme is dark, moody colors. Color palate and examples: https://pin.it/7KQGjRepE Please refrain from asking if your chosen dress is appropriate, as you have the Pinterest Board to refer to linked above. Please refrain from heavy perfume application as the reception will be close quarters and indoors. Men: Suit and tie required. Bow tie allowed Color palate: Navy, Black, or Brown White or light colored shirt with tie that complements suit color. Shoes: Formal Black or Brown shoes. Examples: https://pin.it/1DTonddG0 Please note: Groom is wearing dark charcoal gray suit with dark green tie. Groomsmen are wearing light gray suits with dark green ties. Please refrain from using these colors. Optional accessories: pocket squares, cuff links. Please refrain from heavy cologne application as the reception will be close quarters and indoors. Hats should be avoided during the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will take place under a shaded pavilion and reception will be indoors. Sunglasses are discouraged while the ceremony is taking place, however if they are necessary for your comfort, or if the sun is particularly bright at the time of the ceremony, that is fine.

Are phones/pictures allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure everyone fully enjoys the ceremony and is present in the moment, we kindly ask that phones be put away during the service. Taking photos or videos is HIGHLY discouraged. We do have a professional photographer that will be taking beautiful photos for you to view once they are ready! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Can I bring a date?

Only those who have been specifically named for invitation are allowed to come. Please refrain from bringing a plus-one.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be at the pavilion at the Black Canyon Inn. Property map is shown on the “Schedule” page.

Question

Who is needed at the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Only those who are in the wedding party and a part of the ceremony are needed at the rehearsal. Rehearsal starts at 5:30pm on Saturday, October 11th at the pavilion.
