Unfortunately, we do have a strict guest list due to venue limitations. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. When you RSVP online, it will specify if you have a plus one as well. Thank you for understanding!
To allow our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and fully enjoy themselves, we’ve elected to make our wedding and surrounding events strictly adults only.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our celebration! Dress code is formal attire. When deciding what shoes to wear, please keep in mind there is a short walk up to the venue from the shuttle drop-off area.
We have a room block at Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Blackhawk, but there are several other options within walking distance. Please see the "travel" tab above for details!
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at North Star Gatherings. We will have a short outdoor ceremony beginning at 4PM followed by an indoor reception ending at 10PM.
We will be providing transportation to and from North Star Gatherings. Shuttles will depart from and return to Monarch Casino Resort Spa. The trip is about 45 minutes each way. We will have an early shuttle option at 8PM for guests who prefer not to stay until the end of our celebration. Please note you will NOT be able to get an Uber or Lyft once you are at the venue due to the remote location!
Limited parking is available at the venue. However, your vehicle will be towed if left overnight. We highly recommend taking the provided shuttles if you plan to drink or aren't familiar with the area!
It will be chilly out and there is always a possibility of snow! We will have several heaters on the deck throughout the night.
The venue sits just below 9,000 feet in elevation (similar to many ski resorts). To prevent altitude sickness, we encourage everyone to drink water regularly. Oxygen will be offered at the bar in case anyone has trouble adjusting to the elevation. Don't forget - one drink at altitude is equivalent to two at sea level!
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of plated entree.

There will be a Welcome Party at Monarch Casino Resort Spa the night before the wedding. Please stop by any time between 7PM and 9PM. Drinks will be provided, as well as catered BBQ from Seasoned Swine. For more details, check the "schedule" tab above.
