What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that guests arrive at 4pm so that you can have time to settle in before the ceremony. Refreshments will be available.

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is limited at the venue and there will be no valet. There will be parking attendants available to direct you to the designated parking areas.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle service to and from both hotels where we have a block. For those people not staying in the hotels, we may set up additional stops at central locations.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dress and the gentleman should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

What sort of footwear should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in grassy areas. It is recommended that women do not wear heels that will sink into the ground.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. You will be free to take pictures before the ceremony begins and after during the cocktail hour and reception. For those who have not heard of an unplugged ceremony, there is a movement where couples are asking their guests to leave their cell phones and cameras turned off for the duration of the wedding ceremony so they can be fully present in the moment with us. Also, we're paying a professional photographer and don't want your technology in his photos.

What time does the party end?

The reception ends at 10:30pm due to local regulations. There will be an after party with a bonfire on the grounds that will go until midnight. Please RSVP to the after party separately on the site.

Please RSVP to all events by July 7th.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

When you RSVP, please let us know about any dietary restrictions so that we can plan accordingly.

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Make sure to use the official wedding hashtag #itsheimertime so that we can keep track of your pictures.

The shuttle will pick up at the Holiday Inn at 3pm and the St. Charles Hotel at 4pm
