The I-65/I-440 interchange will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, 9/20, and going through 5 a.m. Monday, 9/23. Traffic on northbound I-65 will be detoured to I-440 east and southbound traffic will be detoured to I-440 west. Eastbound traffic on I-440 will be detoured to I-65 south and westbound traffic on I-440 will be detoured to I-65 north. Please plan ahead and leave plenty of time for travel as it is expected that the closures will cause significant delays throughout the city even if you are not using these interstates.
