Women: It’s giving florals, bright colors, and flowing maxi dresses. Don’t forget a shawl or cute sweater in case it’s a little chilly - everything is outside! Men: Think chinos, linen pants, sports coats and button up long sleeves. Skip the ties and stay comfy!
Please RSVP through the website by November 16th! We need to give total head counts for the excursion and seating arrangements, so the earlier the better :)
We ask that no children above 4 attend the wedding celebrations on Friday. We will not have meals or activities catered towards children. Just as an FYI there is a pool on the premises that does not have a gate and (to our knowledge) will not be covered.
This is probably the first question that we have gotten when telling people we’re getting married in February. Google says that we should expect Highs in the high 50s and Lows in the high 40s. The owners of the house said that it is reminiscent of a “California Spring” and that Portugal is the “hottest cold country” in Europe. They have very sunny warm afternoons with cooler mornings and evenings, so bring layers! If it rains, it’s typically a passing shower and rarely ever rains for extended periods of times (fingers crossed!!).
You do not need a visa, but you do need a passport! Please double check your passports and make sure you leave enough time to get a new one. Estimates are 6-8 weeks online, but it is known to take longer. Visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
