Every great love story starts with a simple hello, and ours began with a first date on October 5, 2026. Matthew picked me up with for dinner at Texas Roadhouse not only did he pick me up, he brought a dozen roses with him & opened every door. Conversation flowed easily between us and laughter came naturally. What was supposed to be just a first date quickly turned into an evening neither of us wanted to end. After dinner, we headed to a movie and then finished the night with dessert at Applebee’s, talking and getting to know each other a little more. Over the next few weeks, we continued going on dates, each one making it clearer that something special was growing between us. Matthew knew he didn’t want to wait much longer to make things official. So, on a random Tuesday October 14th, he came up with a plan. He put together a “Boo Basket”—spending far more money than he probably should have—and picked me up for a Mexican dinner date. On the drive there, he asked me to read the card. As I opened it, I found a simple question that would change both our lives… “Will you be my boo?” I laughed, thought it was adorable, and happily said yes. From that moment on, our story truly began. As the months passed, we built a relationship filled with laughter, comfort, and countless memories. We discovered that the best moments weren’t always the grand ones, but the ordinary days spent together. Whether we were sharing meals, watching movies, running errands, or simply enjoying each other’s company, we found happiness in the little things. Matthew became someone I could count on—a source of support, encouragement, and love. I became Matthew’s safe place, someone who understood him, challenged him, and celebrated life’s moments alongside him. Together we learned that love isn’t just found in special occasions; it’s found in everyday choices, showing up for one another, and creating a life filled with shared memories. Our relationship continued to grow stronger with every adventure, every conversation, every laugh, and even every challenge we faced together. What started as dinner at Texas Roadhouse soon became a love story neither of us expected but both are grateful for every day. And while our story is still being written, one thing is certain: the best chapters are yet to come.
