Josh and Mandy swiped right using Bumble on Josh's Mom's birthday July 17, 2022. Josh's Mom wished her wonderful son would meet someone as great as he. Little did April know, her birthday wish would come true that year! On their first date, 12 days later at Wilde Restaurant in Chicago, Mandy talked a lot because she was nervous... Josh is pretty darn cute. That night they discussed their families and friends, each other's lives and livelihoods, their mutual commitment to social justice, and HGTV's Home Town. Josh sadly couldn't hear half of the conversation in the loud restaurant because his ear was clogged! Interestingly, Mandy thought Josh didn't like her as Josh was quiet and did the nervous giggle thing he does. Mandy was proven wrong as the very next day, Josh texted her for a second date! Lots more dates ensued including one that involved an apple picking spreadsheet. November 12, 2022 they decided to make it official and date exclusively while at the Garfield Park Conservatory! Josh and Mandy enjoy long walks in nature, museums, cooking together, and binge watching TV Shows on the couch. They are lucky to have taken trips and experienced gluten free food together across the country. Through Google docs, Excel spreadsheets, and tons of pictures, this couple will collect all the data on their love story forever.
