Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

October is a popular time in Central Oregon, and traffic can be unpredictable due to current road construction, fall activities, and weekend travelers. We recommend checking Google Maps before you leave and allowing a little extra travel time. Please plan to arrive around 5:30 PM so everyone has time to park and make their way to the ceremony area. The ceremony will begin at 5:45 PM.

Question

What do I need to know about parking at Smith Rock?

Answer

We highly encourage carpooling if you can. Fewer cars = more parking luck for everyone 😊 Parking at Smith Rock is first-come, first-served and requires a $10 day-use permit for Oregon residents. We’ll be reimbursing our guests for parking! Payment kiosks throughout the park accept cash and cards, and new QR code payment options are also being added around Smith Rock. Since parking can fill up quickly on busy days, our best advice is: grab a parking spot first…then pay.

Where is the North Point Amphitheater?

Answer

The amphitheater is located near the park’s north turnaround area. It's basically a giant scenic cul-de-sac and the closest access point to the ceremony area.

What is the attire? And what kind of weather can we anticipate?

Answer

We’re aiming for a polished casual vibe. Dress comfortably, but feel free to elevate your look a bit for the occasion. And if you're looking for an excuse to get dressed up, this is it! We guarantee you won't be the most overdressed person there. 😉 We'll be outdoors at Smith Rock for a short time before heading to the reception in Bend. The ceremony itself will be short and sweet - we promise! - but Central Oregon tends to cool down quickly after sunset, so layers during the ceremony is a good idea! And let's all say a little prayer for sunshine. ☀️

How much time does it take to get to The Barrel Room?

Answer

The Barrel Room is about a 40-minute drive from Smith Rock. The reception doors open at 6:45pm for cocktail hour. You'll have enough time to enjoy the scenery, warm up in the car, and get ready for cocktails.

What do I need to know about parking at The Barrel Room?

Answer

If you're not staying at the SpringHill Marriott across the street, there’s plenty of nearby parking available for guests at The Barrel Room. The best parking area for everyone is along Arizona Ave. in Parking Lot C. Parking fees will be covered by The Barrel Room by following the instructions below: Park first Scan the parking lot QR code Enter your license plate and select "15 Minutes of Free Parking." Inside The Barrel Room near the bar area, scan the event QR code to receive 4 hours of free parking. A little technology moment before cocktails 🍸

Can I bring a plus one or extra guests?

Answer

As much as Brian loves being the center of attention😉, we’ve intentionally chosen a small and intimate celebration. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP.
