Bride
The brides-to-be - Mandy & Bethany met online in April of 2020 - just after COVID shutdown everything. Through lots and lots of emails, texts, calls, Zoom dates, socially distanced hikes and outdoor events - we made the best of a difficult dating situation and here we are! Ready to tie the knot.
Matron of Honor
Mandy is more than just my cousin, she is my sister and best friend. 10 years ago, Mandy stood by my side as I married my husband and I am ecstatic to be standing next to her on her special day! She has been a role model for me my whole life and is a wonderful role model for my kiddos who adore their Aumi! "So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me, SOS!" Love you mi prima favorita!
Bridesmaid of Honor
Evy is Bethany’s sister and this is a little bit about her - “Hi! I’m Evy! I am a senior at UVM and work as an ABA Therapist in Burlington, VT. I love to travel and hang out with my dog, Finley. We like to go for hikes and runs just about everyday (even in the snow- yikes!)”
Bridesmaid
Heather is one of Mandy’s cousins and has been one of her go-to friends and main “Mafuckah” to talk to, have random trips to Starbucks, eat food until we groan and have fun with accents while grooving out in the car. Heather was one of the first to know about how Mandy felt about Bethany and how their relationship was progressing. She’s been a constant support and fantastic friend. We’re happy she’s agreed to spend our special day with us.
Bridesmaid of Honor
Eileen first met Bethany on a bus from the Cleveland Airport to the College of Wooster. She liked her hat. They have run together, traveled to Shanghai, and once both applied on Craigslist to the same roommate posting in JP. (Bethany ended up living there. Eileen did not.) Some of Eileen’s favorite memories with Bethany are of eating momos at Trident Booksellers on Newbury Street and vegetarian lunches at the Buddhist tea house in Cambridge. Eileen first met Mandy during the pandemic. She came over with Bethany for a front yard socially distanced dinners of Bertucci's pizza and bahn mi sandwiches. Mandy also made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. Eileen looks forward to many years of Bethany and Mandy's adventures crafting, cooking, and traveling together.
Bridesmaid
Beth, Fred, Fredrica - one of the many names she’s known by. Beth and Mandy met in college as they were both Music Education majors. Having been friends and living together for over 20yrs, there are so many stories and inside jokes. Beth has been a great friend, confidant and we’re thrilled that she’s going to be joining us for our wedding celebration.
Bridesmaid of Honor
Note from Erica - “Thank you Bethany and Mandy for inviting me to be a part of your special day. Bethany and I met on our first day of college; we were located two doors down in the dorm. It was my birthday, and she made me a beautiful birthday card. She was getting to know me. Also, Mandy and I met many years later on my birthday. She made me a delicious pink cake, and she did not even know me! What a great thoughtful friend! Bethany and Mandy, I wish you all the best.”
Bridesmaid
I was so very blessed to have met Mandy during our Sunday Night Bowling League. Little did I know at that time, so long ago, that she would quickly become one of the most treasured people in my life, a best friend and soul sister. For those of you who know Mandy, she is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, the friend who you can talk to about anything and everything and she will always tell you the truth. We have had many great times together and I could go on and on… I am so happy and blessed to now have two best friends. Thank you for asking me to be part of your very special day. Love you both!!!
Mandy’s Soul Sister
Mandy and Emmi met the very first day of college and have been best friends ever since. Even though they’ve lived far apart for a long time now, when they get together it’s like no time has passed and they pick up right where they left off. Who could ask for a better friendship and soul sister?!? We’ve asked Emmi to be a part of our special day by reading something during our ceremony.
Honor Attendant
Bethany met Jen while singing in the Voices Rising chorus in 2004. Over the years, Bethany became an honorary member of Jen’s family by serving as “Auntie Bethany” to her children Adi and Eytan. Bethany cherishes their conversations.
Brother of the Bride
Ryan aka Bubba Chunk is Mandy's brother and will be walking Molly, Mandy & Bethany's dog down the aisle. Ryan has been through many ups and downs in with Mandy through this life and is an amazingly supportive brother. We're excited that he'll be sharing this day with us and walking "Mol-Bear".
Flower Girl
This little girl is so full of wonder and energy! She loves to dance and is SUPER excited to be the flower girl for Aumi and Aunt Bessany.
Ring Bearer
Lovable and ready to give big hugs, Bubs is excited but doesn’t necessarily know why! Lol
Bethany’s Mother & Step-Father
Francee is Bethany’s amazing, supportive Mom who in so many ways helped Bethany get to this special day. Francee is Bethany’s singing buddy. travel companion, partner in goofiness and above all, one of Bethany’s closest friends. Richard has been Bethany’s stepdad for 23 years. He welcomed Bethany into his life and family with open arms. Bethany loves Richard’s positive outlook, his commitment to family and his wonderful sense of humor.
Mandy’s Aunt & Uncle
UM and my Taunt Aunt have been a source of stability and strength during my life. They have taught me about resilience, resourcefulness, fairness and love through the years. I would not be the person I am today without their help and guidance. I love you both and I’m so happy that you’ll be there on our big day. ❤️
Bethany’s Step-Mother
Julia is Bethany’s stepmother and the seamstress that made Bethany’s wedding dress. Bethany is grateful to have Julia in her life and thrilled that they are once again living in the same state.
Mandy’s Aunt & Uncle
Unfortunately, in late 2021 Mandy lost her Uncle Craig. He was like a father to her and will be missed on this special day. In honor of his memory there will be a picture on the memorial table to remember loved ones who have passed. Linda has been a rock and offered steady strength, loyalty and understanding through the years as I grew up. She is a truly amazing human and I’m so grateful for having her in my life. She has been gracious enough to allow Bethany and I to have our wedding on her property and welcome family and friends for this gathering. We cannot express how deeply touched and grateful we are for her generosity.
Molls-of-honor
Our beloved pup will be walking with her Uncle Ryan down the aisle to see her Moms get married.
