November 9 2019, On that Saturday, I scheduled for Mandy and her older brother Michael to do an Escape room together. He convinced her that he won free tickets to go. They were "locked" in the room for about 30 minutes trying to "figure out" how to solve the puzzles to open the door to the next room (meanwhile Michael knew how to solve every puzzle already). I already planned for Mandy's family and friends from all over to be around, so we were all in the final room to surprise her! Before I knew it, the music died down and she finally opened the door to the room we were all waiting in. She looked so shocked saying, "WOW! you are ALL here" over and over again. I was down on one knee, grabbed her hand and said the special words "will you marry me?" She paused, took a deep breath and said, "you see this is actually a very serious commitment" (jokingly) then said "YES," now the rest is history! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in DFW!
