Xavier and Mika tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Buckingham, Virginia on December 1st, 2024. They are excited to now be able to celebrate their marriage with family and friends!

We met during our new student orientation before starting undergrad at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017. After failing to avoid a dreaded ice breaker activity, we were begrudgingly paired together as the last two standing without a partner. Little did we know that "bird-and-perch" would lead to friendship, and ultimately, the best life partner we could have asked for.

We want to recognize and give our deepest gratitude to our parents who pushed us to pursue our dreams, encouraged our passions, and provided unwavering love to always come back to. As we start this new chapter in our lives, we recognize the strong foundation you provided that raised us to be kind, understanding, patient, respectful, and curious for what life has to offer. Thank you for raising us to be the individuals we are today, someone that the other can love fully. Additionally, a special thank you to Sharon Kim who officiated our December wedding and captured the moment with photos. We also thank her for helping to coordinate our upcoming July celebration and for being a wonderful friend to us both.
