I mean, no, but you do you. Rob and Mandi LOVE to wear pajamas, so they'll be wearing their fanciest version and we encourage you to do the same. However, the main point is for you to be comfortable, so wear your comfortable stuff. Please do not get overdressed on our account.
Yes, we mean this 100%. We love doggos, and honestly, that's the real reason some of you were invited. (J/K we love you too). If your dog has behavioral issues, leave them at home, but there will very probably be no small children attending and if everybody keeps their best friends leashed we shouldn't have a problem. There is a lot of green area in the Park and a lot of people who want to give your sweetie smooches and scritches, including the bride and groom.
We have recently addended our policy to allow children; however, we want to be clear about the nature of things. We are hoping for a lot of dog attendees and there will be a significant amount of musicians and bartenders, and I do not claim responsibility for anyone's language, including my own. So please just keep that in mind. Your 16 year old has probably heard worse, but others maybe not. And if your child is one who doesn't comprehend not to ride a dog, this might not be for them. Otherwise, we do want you to share in our fun moment!
Unfortunately, there are not a ton of hotels near the venue. It seems the best bet for hotels in the area near my house is Barret Parkway in Kennesaw and Windy Hill in Marietta. Both of these are within a small rideshare fare of the venue, and are close to I-75 for easy access to the airport. We will be hosting events in Mountain Park (Roswell), Marietta, and Woodstock. Woodstock may also be a good choice to be centralized to all the events.
Obviously. We have a limited number of chairs that will be relocated to the inside space for eating purposes, so we recommend bringing your own lawn chairs if you want to chill while enjoying the bands. We highly recommend tipping the musicians, DJ, and bartender.
We only put in plus ones for head count purposes. If you have a significant plus one and don't see one on your RSVP, please contact one of us and we'll add them. We don't want people to come solo if they're uncomfortable doing so or if it would change their RSVP status. You'll probably know someone, but maybe you want to bring someone else. Or maybe you can borrow someone's dog for a day.
Yes! Please keep in mind MOST of the people attending are bartenders, musicians, and Wisconsinites, so if you plan to go all in, help us out and bring something. Brands will likely be generic, so if you are picky with your vodka or whiskey, bring your own. We highly encourage tipping the bar as well as the musicians and DJ.
There is limited parking in the park. We are strongly encouraging ride share and carpooling. There are two parking lots with limited space, but please remember STREET PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED. You will definitely be ticketed if you park on the street.
