Question
What should I wear?
Answer
The wedding is semi-formal so please dress accordingly. NO jeans, t-shirts, or sweats. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes as the ceremony is located on the lawn, and the reception space has concrete floors. The ceremony will be held outside and with the HOT June weather we suggest wearing sunscreen for those with sensitive skin.

Do I have to RSVP?
Answer
Yes. An RSVP is a courtesy to both the bride and groom. We want to make sure that we are planning to accommodate all of our guests. RSVPs allow us to plan for meals as well as ceremony/reception seating. In order for us to be able to accommodate a meal for you; you must RSVP by the deadline of May 15, 2019.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will both be held at Mountain Ridge Venue located off of Route 501 in Rustburg VA. A GPS will take you directly to the venue. If you have any issues with finding us please call the day of coordinator for assistance at 434-941-8776.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the bride ahead of the wedding if handicap parking is required.

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Answer
Check out the travel link on our webpage. We have two hotels which are offering discounted rates for our wedding guest.
Question
Will food be served? What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
We are well aware what it is like to get to a wedding and food allergies limit what Randy can and cannot eat. That in mind we will serve both chicken and pork. The food will be served buffet style. If there are any food allergies (ex. Nuts), please write on the back of your RSVP so that we can be sure to make you aware of what you can and cannot eat.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:00. As courtesy to the bride and groom please arrive no later than 4:50. We ask that you report directly to the ceremony location after signing our guest book. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to see the rest of the venue throughout the reception.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
All planning will be based off the number of guests that RSVP. Please be sure to include your date when sending in the RSVP to ensure we plan accordingly.
Question
Will there be alcohol served at the wedding? Cash bar? Open bar?
Answer
An open bar of beer, wine, and liquor will be served. The bartender will not serve alcohol to anyone under age. The bartender has the right and is encouraged to request identification of our guests.
