SFO, Sacramento, or Reno Airport
You have a few options for airports when planning your trip to our celebration! You can fly into San Francisco (SFO), Sacramento, or Reno. South Lake Tahoe is approximately 3 hours from San Francisco, 1.5 hours from Sacramento, and just 30 minutes from Reno. If you choose to fly into SFO, we recommend renting a car equipped for snowy conditions, as winter weather can make the drive a bit adventurous. We can’t wait to welcome you to this beautiful destination!

Winter in South Lake Tahoe is truly magical, but it’s important to plan ahead for seasonal weather conditions. Be prepared for snow and icy roads—packing layers, warm clothing, and sturdy, weather-appropriate shoes is a must! If you're driving, we recommend checking road conditions before you set out and ensuring your vehicle has snow tires or chains. For those flying, consider Reno-Tahoe International Airport for the shortest drive, and if flying into San Francisco or Sacramento, be sure to rent a car equipped for winter driving. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this stunning winter wonderland!
