Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly, Mandi hates being late.

Is this an adults only wedding?Is this an adults only wedding?

Answer

Yes. This will be an adults only celebration with the exception of our own kids, and a handful of family members. Our guest list is a 60 person maximum, so we decided this to enable us to invite everyone. We appreciate your understanding and support and hope you take this time as a chance for a special night away!

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accomodate guests who are listed on the invitation only and confirmed on our RSVP.

Answer

Yes! It shouldn't rain in August, however we are in the Pacific Northwest so anything is possible. Make sure to double check the weather just in case!

What is the dress code?What is the dress code?

Semi formal. Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors and the ceremony will be in the grass, so you will want to plan your shoes accordingly. It will be warm, but we will be in the shade for the reception.

All parking is free! There is a lot directly next to the Howard House, and a very large lot just behind it with a short 1 minute walk from your car. Ubers and Lyfts are available if needed as well.

Do you have a hotel block?Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We are getting married the same weekend as a lot of events, and only one hotel offered a hotel block which was the Holiday Inn Express at Jantzen Beach. We also included another Holiday Inn north of our venue that is a great price and is in a great location! A third option is the Heathman Lodge, also in Vancouver and just a quick drive from the venue.

We are doing a buffet style dinner from our favorite restaurant, Margarita Factory. We will have a variety of food options. Signature drinks and various non alcoholic options will be available as well!

Answer

In order for our guests to be fully present with us during one of the most important moments of our lives, we are having an unplugged ceremony. Our professional photographers will capture every special moment and we will of course share our photos with you afterwards. After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and encourage you to snap away!
