Do I need to RSVP since I have already booked my room and flights?

Answer

Yes, we do need you to go to the RSVP tab in order to make your meal selections for the reception dinner as well as indicate if you have any food allergies for us to be aware of.

Are your food and drinks included at the resort?

Answer

Yes, all food and drinks are included at Secrets Maroma. We recommend bringing cash tip money for your servers to use throughout the trip--US currency is perfect and actually preferred by staff.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants at the resort?

Answer

While there are different answers posted, I have asked our wedding coordinator specifically and she said "For indoor restaurants men should wear long pants but can have casual shirts not necessarily long sleeves. Tank tops are not allowed for the buffet or restaurants." *I have indicated suggested dress codes for our events on the Schedule page*

What will the weather be like in Cancun in August?

Answer

Temperatures average from mid-80s to mid-90s and at night time is mid-70s

Is there anything special I should bring?

Answer

Something mentioned to us is to bring a thermos (Yeti, Stanley, Tumbler) for your drinks as the resort will fill your drinks in that for you and it will last a lot longer in the heat. There is no extra charge to do this :) You do not need to bring your own towels-the resort provides daily clean towels by the pool/beach.

Is it safe to drink the water at the resort?

Answer

It is suggested that whenever possible you should drink bottled water. The resort will provide water bottles in the hotel room and for all meals, and will replenish at any time.
