What's the deal with the Save the Date?

Answer

Right from the start of planning, we knew we wanted to personalize our wedding any chance we got. This is the story of us culminating in our wedding, right?? Which starts with the Save the Dates. Mina had the idea of doing a photo booth photo strip, Ben misspoke and said, 'Oh yeah, a Polaroid would be cool.' Et Voila. Our idea was born. From there, we made a list of each guest and brainstormed themes for our Polaroids. Everybody's Polaroid is unique! It captures us in real-time; there are no perfect engagement photos here, just us being US! That means there are some awkward positions, some closed eyes, some squirming cats, and some too light or too dark (which means you may have gotten a second Polaroid with a lighting adjustment). Each Polaroid may capture a memory or a moment we have had with you or is a photo we thought you would enjoy! Please see the 'Gallery' section for the full collection of Polaroids!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have limited space, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding! If you have any questions, please reach out to Ben or Mina.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the welcome party, we recommend cocktail attire or business casual. For the ceremony and reception, we politely request formal attire. Majority of the events will be held outdoors in the summer, so please plan accordingly! Additionally, bring your comfiest dancing shoes to change into at your leisure. We will have a shoe check-in station so you do not have to carry them around with you while onsite.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be multiple pickup points. Please consider booking your stay somewhere close to a pick-up/drop-off point as Ubers do not really exist up here! Most likely pick-up points will include the following locations: -Catskill DMV -James Newbury Hotel in Coxsackie -The Stewart House in Athens -Best Western/Holiday Inn

I am flying in for the wedding; how do I get Upstate?

Answer

If you are flying into Albany International Airport: Coxsackie is only a 45 minute car ride from the airport. Either Uber or Taxi should be able to take you to your hotel/Airbnb. If you are flying into any of the NYC major airports (Newark, JFK, LaGuardia): taking the Amtrak train will be the most convenient if you are not renting a car. To get from the airport to Penn Station: Uber/Taxi or book a Go Airlink Shuttle (about $35 one way) at https://www.goairlinkshuttle.com/ Then Amtrak from Penn Station to Hudson, NY: generally less than $50 one way, can book at https://www.amtrak.com/stations/hud From there, Hudson is just across the river from Coxsackie and is about a 20 minute car ride. Ubers and Taxis may be available but Bride and Groom will be assisting with pickups from the train station if necessary. Please contact the Bride/Groom or their parents for coordination!
