Shuttle

Provided Bus to the Ceremony

October 11, 2025 3:30 pm - 10:30 pm

We have reserved a shuttle for 50 guests from the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel to the Botanical garden. The shuttle will make 2 trips to bring guests to the Botanical Garden. 1) It will leave the Sheraton at 2:00 PM and reach the Botanical Garden by 2:30 PM. 2) It will leave the Sheraton at 3:30 PM and reach the Botanical Garden by 4:00 PM (30 minutes before the ceremony!). At the end of the night, the shuttle will make 2 return trips to bring people back to the Sheraton: 1) It will leave the Botanical Garden at 8:30 PM and reach the Sheraton by 9:00 PM. 2) It will leave the Botanical Garden at 10:00 PM and reach the Sheraton by 10:30 PM. Uber or Lyft

During hours of operation - Simply mention the couples name at the toll booth for access. What to tell your driver if arriving after the Garden closes – When arriving to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens you will be stopped at the tollbooth. Please press the call button on the yellow Callbox directly below the tollbooth window. After pressing and listening for the NBG staff member, press and hold the button to identify yourself to be let in. NBG staff will be connected via radio and will be able to let you in shortly once you have made contact. Staff will not be made aware that you are waiting for the gate to open unless you have hit the call button.

Parking at the Botanical Garden

If you decide to have a rental car for your time in Virginia, the Botanical Garden has a huge parking lot that you will be allowed to park in for free. Leaving your car parked overnight in the Botanical Garden parking lot is allowed in case you have one too many drinks and cannot (should not, honestly) drive back to where you are staying. Although, do not forget to pick your car up in the morning! Make sure to mention to the parking attendant that you are coming for Mandarin & Dylan's wedding for free entry.

The Botanical Garden is about 2 miles down the road from the airport. This is convenient if you plan to get into Norfolk the morning of the wedding and leave the same night! Which is a wild thing to do but you do you!
