Even though Mount Ida Reserve is "technically" in Charlottesville, it is actually 25-30 minutes south of downtown. The closest town is Scottsville, with a few other neighboring small towns, so uber/lyft will be very limited (if any at all).
Mount Ida has on-site lodging available that can be discussed by emailing info@mountidareserve.com if interested. If interested in staying close to the venue, there are also Airbnb and VRBO options.
The Tasting Room has a large parking lot for those who want to drive and refrain from alcohol consumption. We are also looking into getting a shuttle from a hotel in Charlottesville that can take a number of guests to the venue and back once the reception ends. More to come!
