We recommend arriving before 3:45pm. Our ceremony will start promptly 4:00pm so we ask that everyone arrives with plenty of time to be seated and settled by then.
If your kiddos are in town with you for the weekend, please feel free to bring them by on Friday night. We would love to see & celebrate with them! For the wedding, due to our venue size & capacity we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation however... We have rented out the movie room at Shore Lodge (which is steps away from where the wedding will take place) and we will be providing childcare during the ceremony & reception (3:15-10:15pm). Friday Night = McCall casual Think sundresses, polos, etc. No jeans please :) This event is indoor/outdoor and it will be rather chilly at night so we recommend dressing warm. Saturday = Cocktail Attire
Yes! There will be transportation provided on both Friday & Saturday. Friday Schedule: 6:30-7:30pm & 9:00-10:00pm Shuttles will run on a loop from Shore Lodge to Rupert's. *Rupert's is located at Hotel McCall, walking distance from The Nordic Inn. Parking is available. Saturday Schedule: 2:45-3:45pm & 8:00-10:30pm Shuttles will run on a loop from both Hotel McCall & The Nordic Inn to Shore Lodge. *Parking is available. 10:00-10:30pm & 12:00-1:00am Shuttles will run on a loop from Shore Lodge to Yacht Club. *Yacht Club is walking distance back to Hotell McCall & The Nordic Inn. If you are a guest of Shore Lodge, the hotel offers complimentary rides for guests every day from 7:00am to 1:00am. If you would like to be picked up outside the hours of our scheduled shuttles, please call 208-271-6002.
No! McCall is a super tiny town and there are no rideshare options. Everything "in town" is close and totally walkable. Shore Lodge is roughly a mile away from town but if you are a guest of Shore Lodge, the hotel offers complimentary guest shuttles & cruiser bikes to and from town. There is one local taxi operated by a man named Tony. His availability might be spotty on a holiday weekend but if you find yourself in a bind, Tony can be reached at (303) 396-5855.
Payette Lake - We highly suggest getting out on the lake! Mile High Marina (milehighmarina.com) offers boat rentals, jet skis, kayaks, etc. Ponderosa State Park - Hike or rent e-bikes and explore the park. You can pick huckleberries along the trails to some of the best views of the lake. My Father's Place - This old school burger & milkshake joint can't be missed. Come hungry & leave happy! Matt's Favorites: Shroom burger with onion rings & a banana or huckleberry milkshake Alyssa's Favorites: Firehouse burger with tots, a huckleberry lemonade & a chocolate peanut butter milkshake Ice Cream Alley - This is also a must while in McCall. Don't let the line intimidate you - it moves quick & these mountain sized scoops are oh so worth it. Ps. They are cash only! Local Breweries - Salmon River Brewery & McCall Brewing Company are great places to throw back a cold one and spend an afternoon in McCall. Coffee - Looking for a pick me up? Flying M & North Fork Coffee Roasters are our favs! If you have time to sit down and enjoy a true breakfast, Fogglifter Cafe is the spot. McCall Golf Club - If interested in golfing, this a local public course that offers 3 9-hole courses. Since it's a holiday weekend, if you plan to golf we suggest calling and setting up a tee time in advance.
