While the main house sleeps 58 people, there are only 11 bedrooms. This means that you'll likely be sharing a room with friends or family. Room assignments will be made after we have the final RSVPs in. (We obviously won't pair you with a stranger.)
Yes! This is a huge tourist area since it is right outside Zion National Park. From Thai to Tex Mex you can find it in the area. There are smaller super markets 15 minutes away and a Walmart 30 minutes away.
We'll be providing the welcome dinner (Friday), reception (Saturday) and brunch (Sunday) and some snacks. If you are staying in the Villa you are welcome to bring snacks, groceries etc. to store in the kitchen or venture out to town for whatever you may fancy.
It's highly recommended that anyone planning to travel to the national parks or town rent cars. While this is a tourist area, we've got lots of folks and therefore might have a harder time securing multiple ride share vehicles. However, coordinate with your people! Why not just get a few larger vans/SUVs and travel together?
Southern Utah is still in mormon territory and thus you'll have a harder time finding liquor stores or bars. There are a few watering holes in Springdale (right next door) that we have our eye on, but if you are looking to bring alcohol your best bet it to grab it in Nevada or Arizona. There are liquor stores throughout the area but let's put it this way... they serve low proof wine and beer but you can only get "heavy beer" at certain times of day.
