FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at Harding Waterfront Estate (2700 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5J 0B4). Guest arrival will be at 4:00 PM and the event will go from 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 4:00 PM to allow time for parking, seating and settling in before the ceremony begins.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will both take place outdoors, with the ceremony on the back lawn and cocktail hour at the front of the mansion, with the option to go inside if you need to escape the heat. We will have umbrellas set up for shade as well. The reception will follow in an air-conditioned glass pavilion.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire. Black or dark-coloured suits for men, with a tie or bow tie. For women, floor-length or maxi dresses. We'd love to see you embrace the summer season with bright colours, pastels, florals and sparkles - go all out! When choosing footwear, please keep in mind that the ceremony will take place on grass. Please see the Dress Code tab for inspiration.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking available on-site. If you want to leave your car there overnight, please see the next question below.

Question

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, if you're carpooling or taking an Uber at the end of the night, you can park your car at the venue overnight. All vehicles must be picked up by 10:00 AM the following day. The parking lot is not supervised and the venue is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

Question

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

There are several hotels within approximately a 10-minute drive of the venue; a handful of them are listed in the Hotels tab. We have reserved a room block at Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Oakville for your convenience. Please visit the Hotels tab for booking information. Rooms are first come, first served!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

To keep our celebration as small and adults-only as possible, only children of immediate family/the wedding party will be invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As we would like to keep the guest list to our closest family and friends, only plus ones specifically named on invitations can be accommodated. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We will have a professional photographer and videographer capturing every moment. You are welcome to take as many photos and videos as you’d like during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

How do I play "Betting on the Wedding?"

Answer

Between now and the wedding day, pledge $10 to take your guess at who will cry first, if it will rain on the wedding day, if the ceremony will start late, how many tiers the wedding cake will have, and more. Whoever gets the most right wins the pot! To play, first copy and paste this link into your browser: bettingonthewedding.app.link/LOnXaX8Hr3b If using a mobile browser, it will take you to a page where you can click a blue "Get the App" button. Click that to download the app from the app store and create a login. If using a web browser, scan the QR code to download the app to your phone and create a login. Once your login is created, it should automatically bring you to our wedding page, where you'll need to click "Join Wedding." You'll pledge $10 when joining (but you won't pay anything upfront). You can check out the questions and place your bets anytime before the wedding starts - just keep in mind that bets are locked in once placed! No edits can be made! At the end of the night, each participant will give the winner $10. For example, if 50 people play, the winner takes home $500.

Question
