Come join us across the border for a destination wedding in enchanting San Miguel De Allende! San Miguel De Allende is a romantic colonial town located in "el corazon" or the heart of Mexico. Founded in the 1500's, this colorful city is a time capsule with cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and no traffic lights. Considered the "Paris" of Mexico, it's also a "hub" for expats and artists with endless galleries, high end shopping, and amazing restaurants. Did I mention that this charming city is also a UNESCO Heritage Site? Or that was named best small city in the world by both Travel & Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler in 2021 & 2022! Very early on in our relationship, we paused our lives and took some art classes at the Instituto in San Miguel De Allende. Chrissy took a silversmithing class, and Logan learned how to sculpt marble. Having dated long distance, this became the perfect opportunity for us to cohabitat together and see if this relationship could truly work. It certainly did, and we fell in love with each other and the magical city of San Miguel De Allende. After our trip we returned home and moved in together.
Chrissy and I have met at Burning Man. We happened to be in the same camp together. I first saw her at a camp meeting, and knew I had to get her attention. Right afterwards, I offered her my bike pump and fixed up her bike. After that, we hit it off and ended up spending the entire festival together and have been adventuring around the world ever since.
While on vacation in Santorini, Greece, Logan told me to wear my best dress, and surprised me with a sunset photoshoot in front of some of the most iconic backgrounds of Santorini. We gradually made our way back to our hotel, where waiting for us were candles laid out in a heart shape. Our photographer captured Logan getting down on one knee as he asked me to marry him. We both teared up and of course I said yes! We then popped open some champagne to celebrate.
