Our Story

11-29-2016

We met through work, long before either of us realized how much that moment would matter. I was a trainer helping open one of our company’s new restaurants, and Andrew was a trainee at that location. We didn’t speak — not even a hello — but he later told me that if he ever saw me again, he’d make sure to talk to me. He decided that if our paths crossed twice, it would have to be fate. Almost a year passed. Then, at a brand‑new location in Fresno, we saw each other again — this time as trainers working side by side. The second chance he’d hoped for had arrived, and from that moment on, everything felt easy, natural, and strangely inevitable. Two weeks later, we were engaged. Some people spend years circling around the right person. For us, it took two brief encounters, a little timing magic, and the certainty that when you know, you know. Now, almost ten years later, three kids and a little debt we are finally having our moment.
