It all started from DJ Sanghvi, our college of Engineering. Ronak was a hard core front bencher while I was mostly found with my group at the back benches. We were just a group of strangers sitting in a room, each of us had our own paths, not knowing that those paths would soon intertwine. I did not know Ronak until the third year of Engineering. It was after the BE third year trek that changed the idea of who Ronak was for me. As time passed, we started talking about things more than just assignments. We had a shared interest in sports and games which made us grow fonder as friends. Fast forward 4 years thats when I met Ronak again post graduation. We met over dinner. He was in my town for an interview so we decided on catching up. Soon after, we kept in touch and met more often and caught up over many more lunches and dinners

The best time we have had was in 2020, Thanksgiving. We 8 friends met for a long overdue reunion for about 3-4 weeks. Since it was COVID we had the freedom to work remotely. We used to spend a lot of time together. The walls of formality broke down eventually. We started sharing more than just daily routines — we shared stories about our lives, our dreams, and even our struggles. What began as casual late night conversations became heartfelt talks about life, ambitions, and sometimes the randomest topics that left us in tears of laughter. When I left from East coast we were not dating but I definitely felt we had something special there. Those days were to die for, those late night conversations are to die for. I hope we keep on having those kinda conversations from time to time.

One beautiful evening, Ronak called me over for dinner. We chatted and watch a film together in the middle of nowhere I hear ronak telling me about how he felt about me. I saw that coming for sure but ronak being an introvert he is, took the initiative to express his feelings was such a pleasant surprise. And yes, thats when we started dating. That began a new phase in our lives, a new journey. Didn't think we would make it this far. 4 fucking years of loving each other, cursing each other, teaching each other, learning from each other, get mad at each other and so much more.

I had no idea what was coming that day. It seemed like an ordinary evening. I left in the afternoon for a quick errand and as soon as I walked into our home, what I saw was the most magical thing ever for me. Our home was decorated with balloons, flowers, ribbons, etc. My brother, who helped ronak pull this off, stood on the side taking a whole video of this wholesome moment. Ronak was down on his knees and I hear, "We have been together for over 3 years now, are you willing to spend a lifetime with me.....Will you marry me?" he asked. This was the easiest YES I had to ever say! And then, it happened. He reached into his pocket, he opened the box, with the most beautiful ring, but honestly, it wasn’t about the ring. It was about him — about the way he was looking at me, about the efforts he'd put in this proposal for me, the love in his eyes, the promise in his words. It was perfect, more perfect than I could have ever imagined❤️ #RoManchaksafar
