--- 2012 --- Justin, a sponsored amateur skateboarder and party boy, arrives at UC Irvine. Justin joins the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Manami, a powderpuff flag football Alpha Phi star, is enjoying her 3rd-year at UC Irvine. Through Greek life, Manami and Justin meet. Manami doesn't like Justin. --- 2013 --- Manami decides to go to Las Vegas for her 21st birthday. Manami tells a mutual friend of theirs: "You can invite anyone but Justin Peters." Justin invites himself. In Vegas, Manami gets a glimpse of how funny Justin can be, and although secretly annoyed that he invited himself to her birthday, she doesn’t…dislike him. They start talking more, but just as friends. --- 2014 --- Manami and Justin are both living in Newport Beach, CA, and "living up" their senior year. They share many close mutual friends and often see each other on campus, at parties, or out in Newport. They’re talking almost everyday and walk together at graduation, where Obama gives the commencement address. They start dating. One night that summer, Justin tells a friend while pointing at Manami, "That's the type of girl you marry." --- WELL, IT ONLY TOOK JUSTIN 10 MORE YEARS… Fast forward to today, they have traveled the world together, lost loved ones together, endured grad school together, and have become “grown-ups” at each other's side.
