We are so grateful for those who can travel to attend our wedding at Quinta Bella Vista in beautiful Sintra, Portugal! Getting around: Portugal is very easy and extremely cost-friendly country to get around. They use Uber and another ride share app called Bolt. Even if you have Uber, we recommend also downloading Bolt since sometimes one has faster pickup options than the other. Walking around: This is a very walk friendly country, but you NEED comfortable shoes for walking around. Especially if you plan to walk around the streets, the sidewalks are built with small tiles that are slightly slippery (even without rain). Sintra tips: We have listed a few recommended hotels below (feel free to book at a different hotel in Sintra). Please note that Sintra is a one-way road, so 5 minutes one way, can be about 25 minutes to return. Use google maps directions before booking a hotel to get a better understanding of timing based on your preferred accommodation.

Flight

Lisbon Airport (LIS)- Humberto Delgado Airport

You should fly into Lisbon Airport (LIS). From there you can easily order an Uber or Bolt to take you to Sintra from the Lisbon airport. Lisbon's airport has a designated ride pickup spot. It is about a 35-45 minute drive to Sintra depending on traffic.

Information regarding transportation will be provided closer to the wedding day. Please let us know which hotel from the recommended three (or any other hotel/accommodation) you book. This will allow us to better coordinate transportation for the wedding day.
