4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Attire Suggestion: Bride and Groom will wear traditional Indian dresses. You are welcome to wear what your heart desires, tastefully :). Also, the grass can be soft. Maybe skip the stillettos
Our wedding ceremony is a beautiful blend of traditions — honoring our Indian roots while embracing elements of Western weddings. We have added a personal touch to the the traditional "Var Mala" ceremony by incorporating vows into this beautiful moment. Thus we are naming it our "Vow Mala". Our ceremony will continue with the 7 "Pheras" around the sacred fire, where each "phera" symbolizes our unity, growth, and promise for our shared future. After the wedding rituals, we would like you all to sing with us these lines of a poem we heard at a concert last year of Malvika's favourite artist Ganavya: "There is so much beauty and comfort, in being in love and just being" and yes we will be singing these lines a few times this evening :) We can't wait to share our special moment with you!

This event will be a party + dinner immediately following the wedding ceremony (MaRtian Union). As we step through the Stargate into the beautiful unknown, we'd love for our wonderful guests to share with us their words of advice, anecdotes, songs, poems, or anything that comes from the heart, though there is no obligation to do so. Afterwards, we'll crank up the music to celebrate and dance the night away -- till 9:30pm. Looking forward to see your moves!
