We’re getting married!

Michael and Ashley met while attending the Wilson Talent Center back in 2019. Michael was studying Precision Machining as well as Welding, while Ashley was attending the Medical Assistant Program. The two rarely ever interacted- as they were on separate sides of the building. The time for prom came around and Ashley was in search for a date. She decided Michael was handsome and would do good for pictures. Michael strangely enough agreed. Michael and Ashley will both tell you that neither one of them intended on staying together. Ashley will jokingly tell you she was just using him for a date, and Michael will tell you how she even ditched him on prom night. God on the other hand had different plans, and the rest of their love story is history. After dating for a couple of years, the two became inseparable, and it became very obvious they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. From Ashley attending college nearly 7 hours away to Michael leaving to join the Air Force - the two stayed together and beat the odds. They knew they were perfect for each other. The two moved in together and began to start a life of their own. They filled their home with love and enjoy hosting all their favorite people for get togethers and holidays. Soon enough, there was talks of engagement, looking at rings, planning a wedding, and of course, marriage! It was just a matter of when Michael was going to pop the question. He planned a camping trip with all of their closest friends in September of 2021. They went up to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and spent a long weekend having the time of their lives. Michael proposed the last night there - right on Lake Michigan at sunset. Without hesitation, Ashley said yes and was ready to start planning their future together! They are so happy to share this special journey with all of their friends and family and have a big celebration with everyone!
