We're so excited to share this special day with you!

It all started with Hinge, oh, and Matt telling all the ladies out there that if he liked you, he'd make you his mom's chicken parm. The NYer in Malory couldn't resist and swiped right in hopes she'd get homemade chicken parm. We matched. As we talked, we learned that not only did we live in the same apartment building in Cleveland, OH...but we also grew up 30 minutes away from each other on Long Island. Holy Sh*t. Anyway long story short, we decided to meet at corner of Church Ave and W 28th to go on our first date on a perfect fall day in October 2019. Matt showed up in sweats and Malory brought along Brooklyn as backup. At the time, Matt was not a coffee drinker so he settled for a smoothie from across the street and Malory got her usual iced coffee from Rising Star (which has since become our go-to coffee place). We then sat on a bench out front, and Brooklyn instantly took a liking to Matt by jumping up on the table and gave him instant kisses (if you know our chonk, you know this required a lot of effort). We then talked about how much we both love eating, especially chicken parm, and the rest was history.

After finishing our F45 class, Matt kept insisting on having a Sunday Funday, but Malory was feeling lazy and rejected every proposed idea. Throughout the day, Matt continued insisting on going to the Cleveland Museum of Art. After hours of insisting, Matt came up with a plan by using the excuse that Italy won the Euro Cup and so we should go to our favorite restaurant in Little Italy, Mia Bella. Malory begrudgingly agreed to go, but didn't take the time to shower or put on make up thinking it was just a dinner. Once we got closer to Little Italy, Matt asked if we could go check out Wade Lagoon in front of the museum because he's never been. Malory again relunctantly agrees and they go for a walk around the pond. He then leads Malory all around the outside of the museum and then gets back to the car, only to put his hands in his pockets claiming he dropped his keys. We walk back to the steps in front of the museum and as Malory turns to look for the keys, Matt turns her around to tell her how much he loves her as he gets down on one knee. Malory responds, "Are you f*cking kidding me?" (in typical Malory fashion). But SHE SAID YES!
