FAQs

Have a question? We’ve got answers! We’ve put together a list of common questions to help you plan for our big day. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help!
Question

Q: What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

A: A full schedule of events will be found here on our website once the details are worked out, stay tuned!

Question

Q: Can I bring my child / children to the wedding?

Answer

A: We are so blessed to have many wonderful nieces and nephews, both by blood and by love, and we truly adore them all! However, to allow everyone (including parents) a night to relax and celebrate with us, our wedding will be a 13+ event. We hope you understand and can join us for an unforgettable evening!

Question

Q: Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only and will be listed on your RSVP. Please do not assume a guest is included. If your invitation does not include a plus one when we send them out, please check with us before making plans to bring a guest. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Q: Are you registered? Where?

Answer

A: We're kindly asking our loved ones to consider contributing to our honey fund here on Zola instead of a traditional gift registry. Your generosity will help us create unforgettable memories and experiences together as we start this new chapter of our lives. Thank you so much for celebrating with us!

Question

Q: Am I invited to both the ceremony and reception?

Answer

A: While everyone coming to celebrate with us holds a special place in our lives, we've chosen to keep our ceremony more intimate. Some guests will be invited to the reception only, and our invitation and RSVP will clarify the details. Thank you for understanding!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal wedding invitations will be sent at a later date. Once invitations are mailed, an RSVP page and additional wedding details will become available on our website. Please check back closer to the wedding for more information!

Question

Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

A: We kindly ask that all photos during the ceremony be left to our professional photographer. We want everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment with us as we say "I do." Don’t worry — we promise to share all the beautiful photos afterward!

Question

Q: What should I do if I have additional questions?

Answer

A: If you have any additional questions, feel free to message the Malory or Jacob. As we get closer to the wedding date, unless it is urgent, please email us at laytonswedding@gmail.com, and the bride, groom, or a member of the wedding party will respond shortly.
