FAQs

Question

Can I bring my kiddos? They're pretty cute!

Answer

We love your little ones, however we kindly ask that the wedding ceremony and the reception are adults only. If needed, we are happy to connect you with a babysitter for the evening to give you a little less "Baby Shark" and a little more "Uptown Funk."

Question

WTF is "Formal Cocktail Attire"?

Answer

Dress to impress, but you don't need to wear a tux. Think suits & ties for dudes and formal dresses for gals. Party shoes are required for everyone.

Question

Do you recommend that I stay at Rancho Bernardo Inn?

Answer

Absolutely! We'd love to have you stay on property with us. We've arranged a room block rate, so be sure to mention the Schneider/Katz wedding block when you call to book. Standard rooms in the block will be $249 per night, and premium rooms will be $269 per night (plus tax). We definitely recommend booking ASAP, as rooms are going fast!

Question

I'll be flying in. What's the deal with flights and transportation?

Answer

We recommend flying into the San Diego Airport. There are plenty of direct flights from all over the world. The Inn is about 30 minutes from the airport. A car rental is only necessary if you prefer it or plan to do a lot of activities off property. Uber can also get you anywhere you want to go.

Question

I'll be driving in and I hate traffic. What time should I leave?

Answer

On weekdays, the best times to hit the road are before/after morning rush hour (8am-10am) and before/after evening rush hour (5pm - 7pm). If you're driving down on Saturday morning, we highly recommend leaving as early as possible and taking the toll road (73 Freeway). Summer Saturday traffic can be brutal. (Is anyone else hearing SNL's "The Californians"?)
