Fireworks Show Over Lake Estes Watch one of Colorado's most brilliant fireworks displays unfold in the sky over Lake Estes. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and find a spot along Lake Estes to watch the colors unfold to celebrate the 4th of July! The show will begin at approximately 9:30 pm. Estes Park’s annual Independence Day fireworks show will light the sky above Lake Estes beginning at 9:30 p.m. on July 4. The Town’s 2025 display will include 1800 shots in a choreographed, 25-minute show. New this year, the Town’s Emergency Communications Center will send event-related text alerts to help you safely enjoy the holiday. July 4: Free Family Festival 2nd Ave. & Emery St., 5pm Celebrate the Independence Day with a free, family-friendly festival that honors both community traditions and a historic milestone. As part of Colorado’s 150th anniversary and the nation’s 250th celebration, this year’s event has fun for all ages. Enjoy live entertainment on 3 stages, games and activities, plus local food vendors and community booths throughout the park. Fireworks & Drone Show: Drone Show – 9:15pm Bringing together technology, creativity, and local talent for a unique Fourth of July experience, our finale starts with a drone show presented by NextLight in partnership with St. Vrain Valley School District Innovation Center’s Drone Academy.
