We will not have any specific dress code, just dress casual to semi-formal. A lot of our wedding party and us will be changing to more casual clothing for our Reception. It's a celebration, feel free to dress in bright fun colors! Those invited to the afterparty are encouraged to bring a swimsuit for some pool fun. Obviously no white allowed.
Your invitation/RSVP will have all guests invited listed, including any plus 1 or children invited in addition to you. Sadly we were not able to include many plus 1s for our guests, as we were already very limited on inviting family and friends. We appreciate your understanding for our limited guest capacity due to our venue. If you have questions or believe a mistake has been made, feel free to reach out to the couple
Please RSVP by September 6th, 2024. If your answer changes, you should be able to update through the website. If you have issues feel free to reach out to the couple and we can manually adjust your RSVP
The barndominium has a large parking area but we highly suggest carpooling with family and friends if possible please. We will most likely have someone helping guide parking occasionally throughout the day if needed.
Unless you are invited to the private ceremony, you are welcome to come and go during the time you have been invited for. Your RSVP and invitation should state the start and end time for your phase, please try to not come before this time and try not to stay after this time. There will be a DJ there to remind guests as each phase ends so you will have a heads up when your portion is almost over. Thank you for your understanding and allowing us to spend quality time with our other guests during their phases
We will have charcuterie style hor d'oeuvres along with Cookies. We also will have soda, lemonade, and water. Alcohol is BYOB, thank you for understanding!
The After Party will be located in and around a pool. Feel free to bring a swim suit. We are also allowing any guests invited to the After Party to stay at the B&B over night. BYOSBAAM (Bring your own sleeping bag and air mattress). There is a large main room that will be used for this.
The invites should have a map that can help a bit. The best way to find our venue is to put in directions for the "Tulsa Botanic Garden". Once you get to the intersection with the entrance at 41st W Ave/Oilfield Rd/N 52nd W Ave and 43rd St N, go up the hill towards the North on Oilfield Rd/N 52nd W Ave and at the very top on the right is an entrance to Ridge Rd. We will have signs out to help guide guests day of, and the gate will be open. Once you turn down Ridge Rd, just follow the signs until you arrive to the Barndominium at the end of the road.
We are registered through Target and Amazon, but are also gladly accepting cash or any more personal gifts. If you would like another way to support us, we are also doing a fundraiser by selling a design we made on a t-shirt and some other items. A portion of the cost will go towards our wedding planning, we appreciate any and all support! Here is the current form to preorder items in this fundraiser. You can copy and paste it into your preferred browser to access it. The first preorder date closes on June 29th. https://forms.gle/tY23YYo3srr1hpGe9
In our wedding planning we decided to focus on some priorities to make our big day as special as it could be. This includes hosting it at a local Barndominium, so we can set up and have time to settle in and relax and have fun getting ready with our wedding party. And also not be in a rush to leave immediately after, so we will be able to stay at the location and pack up the next day as needed. It may not be a typical wedding venue, but we think it is perfect for us!
Totally understandable! One of our main hopes to make our big day as special as possible was allowing ourselves more intimate time with guests. We are very limited on space, and need to keep the amount of people at the property at one time as low as possible. And that also gave us the idea to split our guests up into groups. Our ceremony we wanted to be very private, with immediate family and the wedding party only. And then we will have time for pictures after our ceremony before our first phase of guests arrive. Each phase of guests is roughly broken up by family portions, with a few close friends in each group. This will allow us to really spend some quality time with each group of guests. The phases are labelled as Navy, Magenta, and Gold and each phase will last about 3 hours. Guests are welcome to come and go anytime within the Phase portion they are included in. There is 1 hour of inter lap in the middle of the 3 phases, that we will be doing some of the traditional wedding activities like dances and cake cutting. Please just make sure to only be present during your allotted time, a DJ will be there to remind guests as groups should be starting to head out. Some of our closest friends and family are also invited back for an afterparty which is mainly a pool party that evening. Please contact the couple with any further questions, we appreciate your respect and understanding for our special day!
