Annie swiped right on Ryan on the dating app Bumble in the summer of 2018. We instantly bonded over our compatible music tastes and love for live music. We even were planning to attend the same show later on that week! On our first date, Ryan took Annie to a restaurant in West Hollywood called Ysabel. We had an amazing time and have been together ever since.

Ryan and Annie planned a trip to Cancun in June 2021 with 8 of our close friends. Ryan proposed to Annie on the beach at sunset. It was so awesome to celebrate with our friends afterwards. Upon arriving back to LA, we were greeted with a surprise engagement party thrown by Ryan's family. Annie's parents and sister Meg flew out to celebrate! The party continued and we headed to Mexico City for more celebrating.
