August 27th, 2015- Probably our first picture together. Neither one of us remembers it... a night on Northgate & approx. 4 years before we would start dating.

August 18, 2018- We both interned in Dallas, TX during the summer. Both getting over heartbreaks, and not looking to date anyone, their friendship grew deeper as they navigated a new city.

May 14th, 2019- Our first date. Sam set up an unforgettable first date. Fire, dinner, music, & hammocking at Lake Bryan.

October 8, 2019- We moved to Birmingham, AL to start USA Javelin Project (a javelin training group leading up to Tokyo Olympics).

April 18th, 2020- Quarantine with the Hardins. We bunkered down with Sam's parents (Sanna & Andy) during the pandemic. Gardening, boating, garage workouts, & yoga were regular activities.

June 26th, 2021- Javelin is one way we first connected. Sam helped coach Maggie to her 2nd Olympics and 2nd Olympic Trials Title.

December 30th, 2021- Engagement Night. Sam asked Maggie to marry him in the place where he first asked her to be his girlfriend- Dallas, Texas. Oh, and Maggie had Covid.

July 4th, 2022- Elopement Day! We knew we wanted to elope since we got engaged. We surprised Audrey, Cal, & Matt the day before that we would have our ceremony at 5:30AM... we needed 2 witnesses.

July 23rd, 2022- Maggie competed in the World Championships. One of our favorite parts about javelin is community. We love our international thrower-friends! Nothing like a beer after a hard day.

September 16, 2022- After living in Phoenix for a year to train, we decided to move to Maggie's home state, NEBRASKA! We are no strangers to moving, and hoping this is the last one for awhile.

December 20th, 2022- We love our new home in Nebraska. Snow & all.
