Maid of Honor
Courtney and Malone met in Culinary School in 2010, where they became inseparable. In 2012 they transferred to University of South Carolina together where Courtney rekindled her high-school romance with Drew, her now husband. Fast forward a few years through some ups, downs, tears and lots of laughter, Courtney had the brilliant idea to introduce Malone to Drew's brother, Ben. When you ask Courtney what she was thinking, she will tell you she thought Malone would settle Ben down and that Ben's fruggle ways would bring Malone back to earth (P.S. ask her if that worked 😂) and she would have someone to share all of the Lancaster/Cogburn Family gatherings with. Here we are 4+ years later and not only will Malone be gaining a husband but her and Courtney will be sisters!
Maid of Honor
Katie and Malone have been best friends since middle school where they both terrorized their chorus teacher, Malone's Mother. When Malone transferred to a different high school, the pair remained close and nothing has changed since. Katie has been Malone's closest friend for over 15 years. They have been by each other's side through the worst and best days of each other's lives; from Katie and Fred's wedding day to the birth of their twins, Elijah and Isiah. Malone could not imagine her wedding day without Katie by her side.
Best Man
If you know Ben, you probably know Drew. The two brothers have been by each others' sides their entire lives, with the exception of a few college years. To say they've been through a lot together, would be an understatement. In recent years, the bond between the two has only grown stronger and stronger. The best example of this, started with Drew's wife (then girlfriend) Courtney. Courtney had the idea to introduce Ben to her best friend, Malone, and what an idea that turned out to be! Today, the two couples do everything together, as the boys have their brother and the girls have their best friend. When Drew and Courtney married, Ben was proud to represent Drew as his best man. The time has now come for the rolls to be reversed, and Ben is honored to have Drew as his own best man.
Groomsman
Justin and Ben met on the football field in the 6th grade. Through their middle and high school careers, the two boys developed a friendship that would prove to withstand the test of time. They've shared many wins and losses together to include sports, grades, girls, jobs, friends and family. The two are best friends, and consider each other brothers. As adults, Ben was there when Justin first started dating Vivian, was a groomsman in their wedding, and held their son, Tommy, in the hospital on the day of his birth. When Ben and Malone first started dating, Justin and his family welcomed her with open arms and have loved her ever since. Now, Justin will stand by Ben's side as he marries Malone, and will eventually hold their children as they start their own family.
