Mallory & Tyler

Tyler and I met at First Evangelical Church in Memphis! I worked there this year, and he grew up going to church there! We both had a lot going on in the fall semester, but once we started communicating, it was hard to deny what was happening. He had been waiting on his orders from the Navy for quite some time - they just so happened to come the week after Thanksgiving. We hadn’t admitted we liked each other at that point, but once we had the DTR talk, it was pretty clear we were on the same page. He left 3 weeks later for Officer Candidate School, and I stayed in Memphis and missed him while he was gone. We knew pretty quickly where we wanted the relationship to go, and in March, he officially proposed (even though I had been planning + booking things since January)! We will move to Pensacola two weeks after the wedding, and Tyler will start flight school! We are so thankful for the story the Lord has written and is writing! He wove together the craziest details in this past year, and it is evident that He has been leading us to this for some time. We are also excited for this adventure, and we cover your prayers as we move to a new place and begin to settle in and grow there!
