Tommy and I met on The League (yes, a dating app). I told my close friends I was so tired of dating in Charlotte and that my mom had said to me a time or two that maybe "he isn't in Charlotte". I changed my dating location to what I thought was DC, but it was somewhere close to Arlington (close enough). Tommy and I matched two days later and he informed me that if I wanted to have success I should put my location "in Georgetown". Lets just say that did not matter. We did the whole FaceTime thing for about a month before Tommy decided to drive down over Labor Day even though I had to work. Charley was unsure at first because he was so tall so I kept having to ask him to sit down for her! Tommy was all in and I got there by the time he met my family over a VT football game (of course) at the end of October! Tommy and I have both been through a lot in this challenging dating world and now it truly allows us to appreciate the other more and the value of our relationship <3
