When and where is the wedding?

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! A passport is required to enter the country. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the wedding date (through December 2026).

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The nearest airport to Dreams Playa Mujeres is Cancun International Airport (CUN). It's located about 19.32 miles or 35-45 minutes away, depending on traffic.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP directly on our wedding website under "RSVP". Please indicate which guests will be attending, when your party will be arriving, and if you have any dietary restrictions.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accomodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Given that this is a destination wedding, we completely understand that not all of our guests will be able to attend. If you cannot attend our wedding, please kindly indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

What if I didn’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as “Not Attending.” We will miss celebrating with you, however we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this we are unable to accept late RSVPs.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Given that this is a destination wedding, your attendance means more. However, for family and friends who have expressed interest, you can find our registry details under the “Registry” section of our website.

What is the weather like?

Answer

In Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the temperature in June is is generally warm to hot during the day, with highs often reaching around 88°F. Evenings are relatively cooler and comfortable, with temperatures dropping slightly. June is within the rainy season, so rain showers can be heavy but is typically followed by sunshine. We recommend to stay hydrated and bring plenty of sunscreen!

When is the caramaran trip scheduled for? Is transportation included?

The catamaran trip is scheduled for Saturday, 6/13/2026. Transportation to the catamaran will be provided. The group should meet in the hotel lobby no later than 3:00pm - the shuttle will pick the group up at 3:00pm and then take us to the catamaran. We will be back at the resort around 8:45pm.

What is the recommended attire for the catamaran trip?

Answer

The recommended attire for the catamaran trip is “resort-wear”. Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics and flat, non-slip footwear to safely navigate the moving deck. Consider bringing a lightweight jacket or sweater in case of wind. Below is a brief description of attire recommendations: For Women Attire: Flowing sundresses, maxi dresses, or stylish jumpsuits made of breathable fabrics like cotton or linen. Layering: Bring a chic light sweater, pashmina, or wrap. Coastal winds can make the temperature drop quickly once the sun goes down. Footwear: Flat sandals, slip-on espadrilles, or wedges. Avoid high heels, as they are unsafe on a rocking boat For Men Attire: Chinos, khakis, or tailored linen pants. Pair these with a collared polo or a lightweight button-down shirt with rolled-up sleeves. Layering: A lightweight linen jacket or a casual blazer. Footwear: Loafers or stylish boat shoes.

Will food and drinks be provided on the catamaran?

Yes, the catamaran will include an open bar and snacks.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Although the ceremony starts at 5:00pm, we recommend that guests arrive no later than 15 minutes before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled and enjoy refreshments and music before the proceedings.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is beach formal. Beach formal attire for a wedding involves elegant and refined clothing that is suitable for a warm, outdoor setting, typically with a focus on breathable fabrics. Below we have provided a brief description of attire recommendations. Ladies: A floor length or midi dress works for women to wear to a beach formal wedding. Please avoid shades of white, cream, or off-white. As for shoes, since the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the beach, we recommend a block heel, wedge, or strapped sandals. Gentlemen: As for men, wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt in breathable fabric like linen or cotton. Opt for lighter colors that will that reflect sunlight and help you stay cool. For shoes, Dress shoes or polished loafers are recommended.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors (weather permitting). The ceremony will be held on the beach. Reception will be held in Mermaid Terrace. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day!

Can we take our own photos & videos throughout the day?

Answer

In order to ensure we are fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off/silence all cell phones during the ceremony. However, once the ceremony ends, feel free to take as many photos as you like during cocktail hour and the reception.
