Cork This! Winery
Wine lovers looking for a fun way to taste their favorite varietals are sure to enjoy a visit to this boutique winery and wine shop. Serving up a full list of delicious, locally produced wines in a casual environment, Cork This! is the perfect place to learn about wine, enjoy time with friends and taste the bounty of Montgomery County. Attend a wine tasting event, join the weekly happy hour, and shop for wine-themed gifts, clothing and gourmet food in the gift shop. Plan a special event for up to 300 guests in the window-filled party room and outdoor patio or, for a personalized experience, you can bottle your own wine and finish it off with a custom label. Cork This! is a fabulous destination for wine lovers. PRICES - Wine tasting is $9 per person for four wine samples (includes tax and a souvenir glass). "Bottle Your Own" prices range from $355-$520. Individual bottle prices vary. HOURS - Open 11am-6pm, Wednesday & Thursday; 11am-7pm, Friday & Saturday; 1pm-5pm, Sunday.
Heritage Museum of Montgomery County
Offering visitors a glimpse into the history and the people, places and events that have shaped Montgomery County, the Heritage Museum of Montgomery County educates visitors of all ages with collections of art, memorabilia, antiques, and artifacts. Five distinctive galleries invite visitors to explore themes like Texas flag history, pioneer life, technology and innovation, and black history while following a timeline of the region's evolution, from prehistory through the modern era. Explore rooms featuring the work of of local artists, discover a hands-on children's play space and wander through the outdoor collection of historic buildings. After your visit, stop by the gift shop to find a unique selection of souvenirs and gifts. PRICES - Suggested donation for entry is $1 for adults; $.50 for children. Donations can be made in any denomination. HOURS - Open from 9-4pm, Wednesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday through Tuesday and on all major holidays.
Waterpoint Marina on Lake Conroe
Situated on the southern shores of beautiful Lake Conroe, less than an hour outside of downtown Houston, Waterpoint Marina is the area's premier destination for watercraft rentals and boat charters.
