Our American guests should fly into Edinburgh. In July there are daily direct flights from New York (Delta & Jet Blue), Orlando (Virgin) and Boston (Delta), though sadly not from Cleveland, Vegas or Raleigh!

This hotel (used to be Doubletree, now Apex) is about 10-15 minutes away from Cromlix. It is a great alternative, since there are a small number of rooms available at Cromlix. We stayed there in Dec 2025 and it's lovely! The new owners are also upgrading it further before we arrive in July! Flight

Edinburgh Airport ( EDI)

You should fly into Edinburgh - it's the closest airport to the wedding venue. There are also direct flights from NYC, Boston and Orlando in July.

Travel Note

Stirling Taxis

This is a great alternative to uber, if you want to book taxis to collect you from Edinburgh airport, or for transport near the Wedding Venue (Cromlix). Once you are at the hotel the front desk will be happy to assist you with arranging a Taxi Service.

For those who are comfortable driving on the "wrong" side of the road, all of the major rental companies are available to book and pick up directly from Edinburgh Airport. Make sure you book an automatic, unless you want to drive stick on the "correct" side of the road!
