What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive by 3:30PM to allow time to be seated and settled before the ceremony begins at 4:00PM sharp. We recommend arriving a little early so you can relax and enjoy the moment with us!

What's the dress code?

Answer

We ask guests to wear semi-formal attire. We'd love to see everyone dressed up to celebrate with us. We ask that you kindly avoid jeans, and white/ivory/cream dresses! If you'd like to lean into the vibe, we're embracing soft pastels, fun patterns and playful textures, but this is completely optional! Most importantly, wear something you feel great in!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Everything will be held at The Olde Back Place.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in a grassy area, followed by an indoor reception and dance.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, so we kindly ask guests to arrange their own way to and from the venue. There is plenty of parking available on site for your convenience.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

We will be offering a variety of drinks through our Toonie Bar! In accordance with our venue contract, we ask that no outside liquor be brought to the event. Please be respectful of these rules!

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult - only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Where should guests stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block reserved. Most hotels in Fredericton are located on the south side of the city and will be about a 20- to 25-minute drive to the venue.

Will there be dietary-friendly food options available?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving wood-fired pizza and want all of our guests to enjoy the meal. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary accommodations can be arranged. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or food allergies by June 15th so we can communicate them to our caterer.
